PSBA Announced Winner at e-Government Awards
The PSBA is pleased to announce it is a Winner in the e-Government National Awards for ‘e-Government Excellence: Shared Services’.
The
e-Government National Awards, supported by the Prime Minister David
Cameron, recognise excellence and innovation in digital initiatives in
national and local government, the NHS, education and the third sector.
Addressing the ceremony by video link, the Prime Minister praised the community for the invaluable work it was doing:
“It’s
your work at central and local level that’s helping make us more agile,
more transparent, more open and more accountable,” he said. “Tonight’s
awards show clearly why you have put Britain at the forefront of
e-government delivery in the world. We have the technology and skills,
we have the innovation and crucially we have the people.”
Also
shortlisted in the ‘e-Government Excellence: Shared Services’ category
were projects submitted by the Home Office, DWP and Department for
Education, meaning the PSBA won against some high profile organisations.
The judging panel featured influential industry experts and
peers, and award partners included the Cabinet Office, Socitm, and
SOLACE. All have been exposed to the success of PSBA.
