PSBA Accredited to Code of Connection 4.1
PSBA Accredited to Code of Connection 4.1
The PSBA Network has been accredited for its ability to transport HMG
Protectively Marked Traffic at the RESTRICTED or CESG IL3 level
following a full audit by an authorised Accreditor from the Welsh
Assembly Government.
Additionally, the PSBA Network is one of
the first networks of its type in the UK to become accredited by
CESG/Buying Solutions against the Government Connect Secure Extranet
(GCSX) Code of Connection (CoCo) 4.1. This means that, as a GCSX
Aggregated Gateway, the PSBA Network is certified to carry RESTRICTED
traffic on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
After
some deliberation, between the Cabinet Office, Buying Solutions and
DWP, it has been agreed that ANY PSBA Network connected organisation
can, if they go through the process of becoming GCSX CoCo compliant,
connect to the GCSX network and make use of its services, such as GC
Mail (the secure email service), at no additional cost to that
organisation. If any such organisation is interested, they should first
contact Andy Williamson (andy.williamson@wales.gsi.gov.uk).
