PSBA finalist for UK IT Industry Awards

PSBA are pleased to announce that the service has been selected as a finalist in the Chartered Institute of IT, BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards 2010, in the Project Excellence section.

Initial judging took take place in August, and in October, finalists are invited to give final presentations to an expert panel of judges drawn from across the ICT industry. The winners will be announced at a gala evening event at the magnificent Battersea Park Events Arena, London on November 11th, and we hope to be able to communicate that the PSBA has won yet another award on behalf of all of its stakeholders.

BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, promotes wider social and economic progress through the advancement of information technology science and practice. They serve over 70,000 members including practitioners, businesses, academics and students, in the UK and internationally.

The Annual Awards are a platform for the entire IT profession to showcase and celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence. The categories provide an opportunity for organisations and individuals involved in IT across the public, not for profit and commercial sectors. The categories cover: project, organisation, technology and individual excellence, and include awards such as Security Innovation of the Year, Small IT Department of the Year, Business Project of the Year and CIO of the Year.
