A healthy prognosis from Health - 15th September 2009

Health across Wales is benefitting not only from enhanced connectivity services delivered by PSBA. For many GP surgeries, the delivery of new communications services has also brought the added benefit of refreshed and less obtrusive communications areas.

988 of the connections the PSBA delivers today are used by organisations in Health, with 657 primary care connections and 331 secondary care connections bringing improved communications services right across the country.

Throughout the roll-out within GP surgeries. PSBA teams have both ensured the new service was deployed correctly but also that the physical environment within the surgery was considerably improved with new cabinets and cabling. Health professionals are seeing improved bandwidth through PSBA and a highly professional communications area within their practice environment.

PSBA services within Health are now connecting major care centre’s as well as offering the opportunity for an individual radiographer to work securely and efficiently from home.
