Successful 2nd Anniversary initiates growth phase - September 1st 2009

On September 1st PSBA entered its third year of operation. The last 24 months of hard work and commitment by individuals across the Public Sector in Wales is creating the largest multi-sector government network in the United Kingdom.

With over 1300 network connections now established in Health, Education and Unitary Authorities and other public sector bodies, the accelerated growth of PSBA is happening to the front door of public sector in Wales and beyond.

Proven to be a secure, resilient and scalable shared service, all initial contract orders have now been completed, and we are entering a new phase where you can expect connection of new sectors and delivery of new network enabled services.

Nobody should underestimate the effort that all participants in this unique government project have expended in the last 2 years, and as we move forward, the value the PSBA brings the public services in Wales can only be expected to increase.
